[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
You can't travel far in Vermont without seeing a stonewall. You can hike in the woods for miles and find them. Farmers used them for fences for their livestock as well as for bounderies for their property. They are just a part of the beautiful landscape that is Vermont.

Thanks for viewing my gallery and for your comments on my photos and have a Great day!

The point of view is nice and the idea is original, but the left part seems to lack of sharpness in my opinion, compared to the stones in the very foreground.

All the best,

Emmanuel

Hi Donna,
Very interesting picture!
I like all the textures and colours found on the rocks.
Think that you made a very well balanced composition with the stones, grasses and tree.
Perhaps a little more DOF would be usefull to have more of the image in focus.
Congratulations and thanks for share it.
My best regards,
JM

Hi donna,

A good POV of the stonewall covered with moss, the photo has a good composition, sharpness and nice colors. Thanks for sharing.

Pierre

Hello Donna,
You can find quite a few of tholse around my place too, in fact I actually photographed one last week!
The image is well composed, and the subject is telling a story of the builders roots somewhere in Europe...
Maybe the DOF is too narrow?
Greetings,
Pablo -

You have a nice compo and good colours but the picture is lacking sharpness and DOF.
Antonio

Hi Donna,

I love the lichen-covered stones and the green and brown hues. Your composition is really strong here, but, what you've done is provided a perfect lead-in with a DOF that leaves the viewer wanting it sharper. Same picture with F/16-f/22 and it'd be even better.

Hi Donna
Your gallery is really beautiful and this photo is very suggestive. The world is really small because also from me, in Veneto, the confinements and the enclosures of the livestock I am as in the Ble Vermont.

Hi Donna,

Your point of view of these stones in the foreground works really well here. Very good composition, great colours and depth.
Thanks for sharing!

Greetings, Nel

Well done! Everything in this shot conveys the end of a long winter, from the plethoria of lichen on the stones, to the daffodils peaking out of the ground, and the barren branches in the distance. Interesting coloring.
