10 days after the tragedy at Virginia Tech the first-ever National Club Softball World Series began play at the campus in Blacksburg featuring 12 women's teams from all over the country.
Even though they did not match the colors of their uniforms, the Penn State Club Softball team wore maroon and orange arm bands as a show of support for Virginia Tech. |

Hi Gregory,
So you catched a very unusual pose here!
With the crop made, at first can't be seen what's going on here, the face's expression is almost painful, but then we realize is just a pose for launching the ball.
I think that only one colour for the frame is enough to appreciate the picture.
Well done and thanks for share it.
My best regards,
JM
Hello Gregory,
Only a professional sports photographer like you can take a photo like this one. A very difficult shot to take. Your timing was impeccable. Great expression on this pitcher's face. I believe that women know how to play the game of softball better than men do. Baseball is men's domain. Outstanding sports photo!

Bonjour Gregory,
Belle photo de sport ! La netteté est remarquable du bout du pied jusqu'aux cheveux. L'attitude est très dynamique. Bravo.
