[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I'm back:) Last month I spent in the United States, travelling in Texas and Florida. So you'll see some new pictures from there soon. I should mention, that most of them would be on TrekNature, because I became keen on animal photography. But some of them, describing the animal variety of southern Florida, you'll find here also.

This trip was very special for me, because I managed to show my daughter the places, where I've been 14 years ago - the Disneyworld and Miami Seaquarium. The impressions were quite different this time.

This picture was made during the show. I was impressed greatly by the grace and beauty of this dolphin. I hope you'll enjoy it also:)

Hello Katia,

Well timed shot, with extraordinary color and definition.

In that image of mine of the "Two Ludwigs," the likeness of the man on the left to the portrait in the painting is the son's doing. The son the artist, imitated the Vincent van Gogh portrait in style.

Warm regards,

Bulent

Beautiful and clear picture. The rich colours and good sharpness give the image attractiveness. A well composed image of this moment and place. Good timing with the dolphing soaring in midair. Thanks Katia.

I don't know how many shot you have done in order to have this, but your work has been great Katia, this is the perfect moment of the show, well done, compliments.
Ciao
Vinicio

Hi Katia, do they clap for you?!-:))
I like the composition, it looks great and funny.
Cheers
Evan

Katia,

this is a fantastic "blue mood" shot, exposure time was chosen in a clever way to freeze the dolphin's motion and the splashing. The black and white characters perfectly fits with the blue environment.
A few words about the composition: I like as you placed the three trainers and as the dolphin appeard between two of them. This is just perfect. But I have two things to mention (of course this is my opinion):
one of them is the text "Miami Seaquarium" appearing on wall. So small part is missing that it's rather bothering. Perhaps it would have been better to capture the whole.
The other is the sky and the GSM tower in the background. They don't add anything to the overall composition. I thing I would have tilted the camera down a bit to exclude them and to bring the spot where the dolphin hop out from the water in the view.
Well of course it's not possible to turn the time back - hence I posted a Workshop with the sky cropped off to achieve a very thight composition. Also, I wondering what was cropped off by yourselves from the original composition.
Hope you don't mind my critique.

Best wishes,
Szabolcs

Hi Katia
Excellent timing Lovely colors.Beautiful background. This one reminds me of Sea World at San Diego.
Ramesh

Hi Katia,
this is exceptionnal and quite a comercial advertisment !
May be a rectangular shape for the frame without the sky would optimize, but like this i like it too.
Bird at left is a funny detail and the colors are excerllent and harmonious.
Jean Michel
