Steve,
Gorgeous light and texture on the exposed wood grain. The reddish-browns really pop against the blue sky. I sorta feel like it is cropped a bit too tightly as the branches touch the edge on the top and right. (I know how that goes though and there was almost certainly something there that you wanted to omit.)
Hi Steve,
Nice one! Intense colours, probably due to the use of a polarizer on your 5D. Beautiful camera by the way! Which lense did you use for this one? I see 17mm focal length, but there is no fixed 17mm lense as far as I know. Next to the intense colours and the drawings in the wood, I like the long shadows you got there. Nice one!
An equipment profile would be appreciated ;-).
Greetings! Dennis

Hola!
Original, and great contrast blue and red-orange.
Good picture. Just the tree at left, it will be better without...but we can't cut the tree...:-)
Hasta la prochima!
Javier
A beauty! Wish I knew why this tree has succumbed to the ravages of wind (?) erosion--near coast and sea air, sorry just a guess, or near desert conditions?
Regardless, your careful positioning of the camera and tripod has yielded splendid results with rich color tones and fine details.
