Photographer’s Note

This photo of Caesars Palace in Las Vegas was taken right outside the front door with the more recent tower in the background. I am inexperienced when it comes to night photography so some lighted areas became overexposed. I tried to tone them down a bit by using a contrast mask. Other than that this photo is unmodified from the original.

Great architecture shot, I really like the point of view. I think the exposure is pretty good, it doesn't appear there was much detail lost in the few overexposed areas. I'm noticing minor barrel distortion, maybe a few tweaks to the image in PS would be a change for the better. A wider angle might have been better when correcting distortion so you don't lose anything in your precious foreground.
