Located on 50th Street and Avenue of the Americas, Radio City has 5,933 seats for spectators; it became the largest movie theater in the world at the time of its opening.

The world-famous marquee is as long as a NYC block and consists of more than six miles of red and blue neon powered by 599 transformers.

Everything in the Music Hall was designed and built on a grand scale, from the ingenious dynamics of the Great Stage to the 24-karat gold leaf of the Grand Foyer ceiling.

Andre the streak of the dashing taxi looks very good.
The colours throughout this picture are very nice. Good

Hi Andre,
Very colourful...really fantastic how you captured these neon lights and the cab that is passing by. Exactly the right shutter time used to blur it, but still enough detail visable in the car. The vertical framing is tight, but works very good. Sharpness on the building is excellent, just a perfect shot my friend,

Voila un beau sujet pour les amateurs de couleurs nocturnes, avec un joli graphisme de l'eclairage multicolore qui ressort dans la nuit, je vois que tu n'as pas laisse passer l'occasion d'y ajouter un de tes yellow cabs preferes pour dynamiser le premier plan !

This one reminds me my first "proper" experiences with a camera, back in 2001, when I visited the US for the first time during my honeymoon. I had a EOS 500 and I did several shots in NY like this. One of these days I'll have to scan a few to show you how naïf I was then :) I love this one. So colorful, so vibrant. Really up to the subject of the photo. The motion blurred yellow cab on the foreground is a great element to boost that NY feel. Love it!

This type of photography is challenging but is also a lot of fun. Great job of cropping the composition closely and capturing the cab at just the right time. I thought that you may have used a little "second curtain sync" with the fill-flash until I read your notes. The bright reflections from the city lights did the "fill-flash" for you. The colors and clarity of your photo are terrific! Outstanding!

Nice eye catching colourful night shot. I love the movement of the car speeding past it adds to the vibrant atmosphere of the shot. Nice and sharp and the vertical format works well to emphasise the tallness of the building. Good use of available light.

All I can say is NEW YORK.
I mean, you've summed it up right. Neon, taxis and Radio City Music Hall...
Superb colors...you amaze me with your technique, you have such a great eye for classic composition. Not to your detriment, it is an accomplishment...most people try to overdo their technical abilities. You have those abilities, yet use them sparingly to enhance the photos and make them approachable and meaningful. I guess it is the same for avant music...I mean, the people can play but...at some point I just want to listen and feel good.

Hi Andre,
Exquisite motion blur of the yellow cab with red tail lights.
Yellow of the letters of RADIO CITY enclosed with a blue frame in the dominant red is beautiful, especially blue in upper right is really effective.
