Stunning shot, Alvin. Detailed throughout - I love the dashes of colour on the tips of each petal in the foreground. Strong classical composition "at thirds", too, with your subject left with plenty of room to move into. All up an excellent job - well done!

very beautiful shot, right moment and beautiful setting. I love the layered colors, the powerful red(the girls is in red too) the full light over the field and the feeling of joy... as you title expresses it.

another great photo here ! in these beautiful fields of tulips !
forget the girl 2 seconds... POV is nice, framing is excellent, alternated colours make a wonderful composition, good light etc... good !
now remember the girl: the icing on the cake, nice pretty girl with red sweat-shirt holding red tupip, walking with her nice blond hair in the wind, in a line of white tulips, she is perfectly situated in the frame... wow !

This is a great shot. The dof is perfect in rendering the girl and the tulips closest to us sharp and those beyond falling away in blur. Great technique, eye and reaction in capturing the shot.

I never knew there were tulips in the US, always thought it was something typically Dutch, but nice to see this.
Of course the child is stealing the show here. Here red shirt just in the middle of the white fields...beautiful..!!!

Hi Alvin. I sure wish we had as many tulips as you guys have over there. You couldn't have asked the girl to wear a better color of shirt. There's strong order with the depth controlled by the many different types of tulips but we also see so many different types. Well done Alvin.

Hi Alvin,
The little girl running through the tulip field makes this shot very dynamic and you're lucky she was wearing that red sweater. A blue one would have been a lot less pleasing to the eye!

Nice photo again, Alvin, although I found the first one with the photographer in the flower field much more striking (and also the first one was "new", this one, albeit lovely and different, feels a bit like a re-run; from a posting sequence point of view I think you should have held it back a bit longer). The horizontal layers provided by the differently-colored tulips give a good structure to the frame, and the girl adds a light and carefree element of human interest. Good shot.
