The day before was beautiful and sunny. We stayed overnight, and before I realized, we got snowed in and got stuck in Yosemite for one more day.

I like how this picture manages to bring out the mood of such a late spring snowfall. The cold wet air and the heavy snow. In your picture I can even hear the silence as the birds stop singing their spring songs and go back into winter mood.

Fine composition with the houses in a tight corner surounded by snow and forest.
