Photographer’s Note
In Texas we have a program called "Take A Kid Fishing" which promotes taking children, even if they are not your own, fishing to introduce them to nature and conservation instead of drugs and gangs. Early Sunday morning a man takes his daughter fishing at the North Jetty on Bolivar Peninsula. My father used to take me, my sister and my mother to this same place and I still recall those early mornings spent fishing, exploring between the rocks and watching the Sun rise. Very fond memories indeed.
