Photographer's Note
The wooden arch bridge in the foreground goes over a stream in the marsh. The distant Dunbarton bridge crosses the San Francisco bay. Brothers in purpose but distant cousins in size and execution. The wooden one shakes in the breeze while the concrete and steel one is impervious to the rushed comings and goings of thousands of vehicle.

Hi Tom. This is a very interesting comparison. Both bridges look very much alike and both their own character. The colours in the background seem a little washed out but that is ok as it give the wooden structure more emphasis. Nice work Tom.

Hello tom
interresting picture from urban life showing how things can be different while the purpose stay the same : to cross something (but not for same "customers").
Best regards

Interesting use of contrast Tom. I love the similarities between the two, yet how so different they are. Great framing of this one, taken from a supurb POV.

Hello Tom,
Wonderful shot, where the massive bridge in the background seen through degraded air serves as a counterpoint to the little wooden bridge in the foreground. Superb composition, and somewhat different than your patented seascapes with waves crashing on the rocks, and pelicans flying among them.

Bonsoir Tom,
Excellent idée de prendre ces deux ponts. L'effet est saisissant avec un tel point de vue. Beau cliché.
