As I hiked along the Hoh River, through the Hoh Rain Forest of the Olympic National Park, I came across this failed bridge. Like most all of the fallen or dead wood here, the forest works quickly to return the remains to dirt. I was inspired to post this after seeing Ugur's post of a similar, yet still sound bridge located in his country, Turkey.

Wonderful capture of the rain forest reclaiming one of her own. Beautiful celebration of green surrounds this no longer effective span.

I like your rain forest closeup photo. Thisn is an excellent envrironmental portrait of this rain drenched area. It is a different genre of scenic than the grand vista variety. Your composition is excellent. This is so sharp with perfect exposure that I can feel the misquitos buzzing around me. Well done!

This one certainly carries the feeling of being in those wonderful dense Northwestern forests - all wet wood, moss and fern. Difficult, almost cramped, photographic situation, but with an almost tangeable dampness.
