Crystal Cathedral inside Photo

Photographer’s Note

This is the inside of my previous post of the Crystal Cathedral, in Garden Grove, California (see also that post note).

After the beginning of the service in this high-tech church, with the music playing, one of the glass walls opened, letting see a fountain, the sunlight and the sky.
According to Wikipedia, the church is also known for its 280 rank, five manual pipe organ constructed by Fratelli Ruffatti. The instrument incorporates the large Aeolian-Skinner pipe organ built in 1962 for New York's Avery Fisher Hall.
The services are broadcast around the world on a weekly television show called The Hour of Power (see workshop). They say, it's the most-watched Christian program in the world, with an average of 30 million viewers each week. A large screen is also inside the church.

Estava a ver que tinhas desistido deste mundo virtual, Francisco...bem vindo! Gosto muito das duas fotos - este espaço parece espectacular e adorava visitá-lo. Que igreja tão modernaça! O enquadramento em WS, também está muito engraçado, com uma boa inclusão do personagem no ecrân e a forte perspectiva para o canto superior direito. O jogo de luz aqui é muito bonito e o tamanho daqueles orgãos é impressionante - apesar de serem uns caixotes, acho que estão bem integrados ali. Gosto bastante.

Bem esta igreja ou catedral é mesmo ultra-modernaè impressionante o tamanho dos orgãos, também eles com linhas muito modernas e minimalistas.
è interessante mostrar-nos este tipo de arquitectura tão arrojada.

è realmente uma construção fascinante! Ninguém diria que isto é o interior de um edifício.
Escolheste muito bem o pov, usando a simetria da catedral e mostrando as pessoas.

legal este contraste das áreas em ocre com os branco-gelo da vidraria. fico imaginando se esta estrutura não será uma estufa em dias de calor, com certeza deve ser refrigerada com ar condicionado. belo trabalho mostrando esta magnífica construção
