This is a classic point of view but I like it. Colors are great and composition is well done according to 3/3 rules.

Hello Adrienne,

Thanks for this view of the monument valley: red earth, stone towers and cloudy sky. It is not the first time your are refering to John Wayne, but for me, the monument valley is more close to the books written by Tony Hillerman about the Navajo. Since I read them, I really would like to go there and have a look by myself: it is so an incredible place.

Pretty unrealistic landscape. The cloud formation is fortunately very appropriate for the picture with the blue triangle in the middle.

I would sharpen it just a little.

Now I´m travelling with my mind there.The exposition and the croping are well done.
The definition could be better but maybe you don´t know the trick wit the photoshop yet to improve it.
