Canyonlands is located about 30 miles from Arches National Park but well worth the drive. Its almost like looking at the earth in prhistoric times. Good roads and great hiking trails....Jim

Hi Jim,
Yep, I like it and yes, Canyonlands is on our itinerary albeit only a drive through with no hiking time. Seems the day you took this was overcase and hence left a very hazy view in the distance. Is that the road we see to the right and below - with no guardrails? Yikes, that looks scary! Thanks for sharing. Gerald

Great capture, its too bad that there is not a person on one of the trails to show the scale of the shot.

Jim,

This is an awesome shot of someplace else I hope to go some day. I read the comments and was curious if the road or trail we see winding down in the foreground was a jeep trail, it relly looks hairy and it gives it some scale. As for the haze and the flat sky, I think it helps melt the background away and make the distance seem vaer great. Nice capture.

Greg
