Hey Hugh
I like the one in TL better. The expression on his face is pricesless. That contrasted with furtive smile on the face of the bare-breasted lady on the wall adds some sardonic feel to this picture. Looks like she is cherishing his pain. I did a major cropping on your TL picture in the workshop to just highlight what appealed to me in that picture (just for fun, not as a suggested improvement), the operatic melodrama.

I like this one a lot... the way the guy is perfectly framed by the background, his concentrated look, the simple yet beautiful colors of it all. Congratulations.
