| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| This sea serpent was spotted at the Festival of Lights in Clemmons, NC. I'm very new at photography, and this was my first session of "night shooting". The large drive thru attraction made it difficult to take a shot without a bunch of tail lights from neighboring cars encroaching on the subjects. Not to mention, that all the shots had to be taken from a moving car (a rough running Jeep Cherokee, no less!) This serpent was beside a pirate ship in a small pond, and I thought the reflection gave the photo a little more pizzaz than the other pictures I took that night. I may create a theme and post a few more in the next few days and maybe you can give me tips for shooting at night. Thanks for looking! |

Hi Lorna
I's a pitty with the blur image for this good idea .
Cheers
JP
Hi Lorna,
The idea was nice to capture festival of lights but its lacking in sharpness. Is this a hand held shot? That probably is the reason behind the blurryness. Also try utilizing the 800 pixels instead of posting smaller sizes.

Hello Lorna
Now I know how Loch Ness creature looks like:))
This image from the festival of lights is very nice, especially for its reflection in the water.
I also have the series of images from the Festival of Lights in Moody's Garden in Galveston, TX.

Keep reaching out and trying new things. Considering your situation and the 1/8 of a second this is very good. You eye told you the right thing - the reflection added to the capture. Post more of them. Keep pushing the envelope.
Thanks for the comments on my traveling cat - much appreciated.
