missed train to Vernon Photo

Photographer’s Note

This is the end of the series at the Metro stations in Washington DC ...

I have been playing with this photograph to show the moment when this guy missed his train to Mt Vernon Sq. And I have to tell that it was funny editing this picture, because I could not remember where I had taken, until I saw the effect of the light on the train showing the direction where it was going.

Hola Alejandro, incluso con la figura del muchacho algo desenfocada, me encanta esta foto. Es un fiel retrato de lo que es una urbe. Los colores son fantásticos y la idea excelente. La sensación de movimiento del convoy está muy lograda.

This one works well Edgar, a great study in motion.
I like the fact that we can get a glimpse of the other train behind the moving one, and the pose of the man seems to suggest his annoyance at missing the train.
I had a look at your metro motion shot, but I don't think it's as good as the metro shadow one. The over-exposed roof spoils it a bit, but mainly I think the composition in the shadow one is a lot better.
I like this one too, good work.

jajaja, aca tienes entonces otra sonrisa mia.
Toda tu serie del Metro esta muy bien lograda. El manejo de luces y velocidad. Y si, el muchacho esta un poco desenfocado, pero igual es muy buena.
