Photographer’s Note
This is the ice skating rink by the lovely fountain at Rockefeller Plaza in midtown Manhattan. It not only draws potential skaters but also many spectators. Nothing says Christmas in the Big Apple like this amazing scene in the center of the city. It was quite expensive to skate....about $40 for an hour....so we joined the onlookers by the wall to watch the frolicking on ice. What a way to spend a few minutes at Christmas time....and at night it is even more beautiful all lit up. Enjoy!
