I was out taking sunset shots this evening. I drove up to a hay barn and noticed two young boys taking pictures as well. One was taking pictures of the bright moon while the other capturing what was left of the sunset. I noticed that one of the boys had climbed into the open hay barn to get higher for the shot of the sunset. I saw an opportunity and took some shots of him in silhouette. It looks like he is standing there saying goodbye to year 2006 and enjoying what was left of the year.

Simplely strait-forward but very effective.
Dark foreground with a thin horizon line are great.
