Bodie, California is a ghost town which the decay of the buildings has been stopped by the use of special treatments to the wood the buildings are made of.
Now in the California state park system, Bodie is well kept and a great place for photographers. However, the hours the park is open during the summer do not allow photographers to take full advantage of great early morning or late afternoon light. The park opens well after sunrise and closes long before sunset, probably because of it's remote location and the need to use gravel roads to get to it. Nonetheless, Bodie is well worth the visit.

Intriguing shot... I guess that's why probably it didn't get any comment. It,s visually beutifull, full of details, but it leave a question wheather it is a picture or a drawing and the note also don't give much of a clue. I enjoy it anyway.
