The famous Alcatraz, from far away but with a good zoom (from the Golden Gate). What a beautiful location for a jail, people leaving on the island next to it are all bilionars... I guess the isolation and the conditions must have been tougher though.

i like the perspective on this, because it mkes the island look like a boat!And good to put an image to a name and place that has become famous the world over.TFS

Hello Sebastien! This really is a nice shot, the island might be centered perhaps a little too much but it's really a great view. Your sharpness is impressive and the background details are very interesting as well.

Lovely sharp image of this famous island. I was lucky enough to visit it many years ago. Shame I didn't have a good camera then. Very nice photo.
