Photographer’s Note
Bahia Honda State Park in the Florida Keys is considered one of the prettiest beaches in the United States and certainly in Florida. The bridge in the background is the old Bahia Honda bridge which was part of the original overseas highway. It has since been retired. However, it does provide a nice photo opportunity and a great perch to get birds' eye views of the beach. This image was shot early morning with my point and shoot. I then used photoshop to convert it to B&W.

I like the compo and place and the dark B&W picture. This has more impact than the colours I guess.

this is certainly a great shot. The contrast between the palm tree and the dark skies is really impressive. It almost look like the light just before a thunderstorm.
