I love the picture. It is cozy and feels like home for me (I am a professor of physics in the United States). Well conceived image! Warm regards and thanks for sharing it with all of us, although it feels as if you've taken the photo in my home or office.

In this era of Internet and TV, these old books have a kind of nostalgic charm. They are so coloured and seem so lonely ! I love books and I love this photo. Excellent idea, to photograph books.

Maybe need to go manual settings and clamp down on your F-stop a little. F-12 to 20 I'd think. Easy for me to say... my machine only goes down to F-8!
