Photographers Note
Bridal Veil Falls, in Provo Canyon, has always been one of my favorite waterfalls. A tram used to run from the base of the falls to the top of the cliff. An avalanche several years ago destroyed all but the cables which can still be seen running along the cliff face. During the winter the falls freeze, making the area a favorite of ice climbers.

Great composition Allan, such a lovely scene. You did good work bringing out the various colors in the foilage without going overboard on the saturation.

Hello Allan! Great capture! It seems like maybe you had some nice overcast light for this shot allowing for a very evenly lit capture. And nice choice on the shutter speed to creatively blur the water.
I like how the falls fill the frame. The red vegegation at the bottoms adds some nice contrast.
Nice work!

Wow, great detail. Love the composition with the fall colors near the bottom. What a majestic place.

Great shot of the falls Allan. I really like the tight composition. The colors look great. The light, or should I say reflected light, on the cliffs looks very warm. Great job on the color balance. The contrast between the cliffs and waterfall looks great too. Can't wait to see you photos of Southern Utah in the coming months.

Hi Allan:
Nice shot of the falls. I was there a week ago Saturday and I have a similar shot that I was going to post, but yours is the better photo! Looks like the colors are even more vivid than a week ago. I would imagine you didn't have to adjust the contrast or saturation much. I like your composition, but particularly the lighting--it can be something of a difficult place to get good lighting. Great job all around.
Cheers,
Clark

Hi Allan. This composition is simply realized and I think the tight crop around the fall was a good choice. The light conditions are well managed and allow us enjoying the beauty of the autumn red trees. The textures of the rock layers are also nicely shown. I can imagine the place must be also quite scenic in winter!
Thanks for sharing...

Allan,
Another surrealistic image. The vivid colors, high definition and general composition work in concert to make this a masterpiece. The note also is very interesting and infomative. Bulent
