Photographer’s Note
At the intersection of Gaskell and 195th in Antelope Valley was covered with beautiful poppies. This is my first time here. I was told that we have more poppies this year. I went there with my friends and my dog who seemed to enjoy the flowers. Too bad dogs can't see colors.
Repost Note:
This is a wider panorama than the previous post. Five photographs are stitched together using a program called "Panorama Factory".
I used Canon PhotoStitch 3.1 on the previous post which had a large chunk on the right cropped off because the Canon program didn't give me enough control to warp images properly. I hope you like my new post better.
The panorama is slightly tilted due to the actual slope of the hill.

Hi Nap,
This is a very good panorama of the poppies field. Beautiful colours and sharpness. The composition looks a tiny little bit tilted but that may be due to your PoV. Nice job :-)

Nap...this is absolutely awsome...what a location...reminds me of our Atacama desert after minimal dew when it blooms in wild flowers ...panoramic view with the foreground colured flowers & background hills...inckuding a human figure ? for scale makes it Great. Thanks for the Pano stich programme. Another - free for try is PTGui, I used it with success but unfortunately a bit expensive. Well done ! Saludos, Robert

Hi Nap,
this is so wonderful that I could drown in this sea of poppies! Wonderful also the inclusion of the person, your friend I guess, to amplify the feeling of proportions.
Have a nice Sunday,
Tomi

greetings Nap.
This field is amazing. The orange comes bursting through despite the stitching of the photographs. Whatever that figure is off to the right of the poto along the horizon, it helps break the whole picture up...which is good.
Regards,
Chris.

Hi Nap
Lovely picture with great colours. The guy on the right looks kind of unneeded, but he gives a good scale of the immensity of the place.
Congrats and thanks for sharing ;o)

Hi Nap,
This is a sensational shot. Excellent use of panorama to reveal the enormous scale of this valley and the hills beyond. The vibrant orange colour of those Californian poppies is stunning. I am used to seeing small groups of these flowers, as we grow them in English gardens - but the impact of this valley filled with them is incredible.
Thanks for sharing

Hi Nap,
The panoramic view of this field just makes the impact all the more felt. It's quite incredible that such an expanse could be covered in poppies. I've been in the Judaean Desert in Spring just after a rain which has a similar affect on the plant life. An excellent image.
Best wishes,
Celina
