Photographer’s Note

Rural Alaska and airplanes are very closely intertwined. I made this image a few days ago outside of a town called Bethel on the Yukon Kuskokwin Delta. There are no roads that connect to the town so anyone who wants to get out has to either fly in or get there by boat. Most fly. Float planes are commonly used to transport people and equipment within the region. I liked this composition the best of the several I took that morning. Any comments or critiques would be appreciated.
