Morris Island Light House as seen from Folly Beach, near Charleston.

The light house was built in 1876 and decommisioned in 1965. It was originally some 1600 feet inland and had several buildings around it. As this photo illustrates, due to beach erosion, the Atlantic Ocean has claimed this historical spot.

Nice composition. I like how the path leads right to the light house. Maybe make it a little larger. Great example of erosion!

Hi Gary,
Great POV with the tall grass on each side of the well traveled sand framing the two tones of blue in the sky and the water with the old lighthouse giving scale to this pleasing photo.
