Photographer’s Note
This is from Shell Island at the north end of Wrightsville Beach at Wilmington, NC. It's still winter time and the tourists have yet to invade. It's the best time of year to enjoy the real beauty of this area without a lot of people.

This shot perfectly conveys the message of solitude as in your note, John. Very relaxing to look at, with just the couple walking the dog, and the two seagulls on the left. A beautiful spot on the coast indeed.
