I love this shot. I am so glad that you took it while the grass was green. Being the complimentary color to red, it really makes the cherry stand out. I am glad you chose to stand on this side of the sculpture so that you were able to include the top of the church. Very well seen.

Raymond,I was delighted to see my home town captured so well. I immediately checked your Gallery to see what other spots you chose to photograph. The Oldenberg Cherry and Spoon has become a minneapolis landmark, and with the Basilica in the background you've really captured the setting very well. Your images are well composed and show that excellent clarity from the Zeis optics (I shoot a DSC-F717). My only critisism is that you tend to over saturate your colors a bit, though it works well in the sunset shots, the greens tend to have an unreal quality. The Sony tends to over saturate anyway. Otherwise great work! - D

you captured claes oldenburg´s spoonbridge & cherry very well.
i really liked the sculpture garden, when
i was there in 1994; good to see it again.
