Photographer’s Note
There were quite a few of loons resting around Sculpture Garden at downtown Minneapolis. This was taken around autumn time and they are on their way to the south since no loons will be resting in the garden at other times.
They kinda stay close together so kinda hard to take one individual. This one break away from the pack and decide to take a drink. I move in slowly to it since my 5x zoom is still not enough. I actually donno it was showing me its feet while I was taking this picture, I only notice it after I had uploaded to my pc.

When I saw the thumbnail, I was first attracted by the color. This green tone is incredible, did you post saturated ?.. It even reflects on the duck abdomen, very strange.
Good shot anyway, and you captured the duck in a funny posture. Well done.

Superbe le cadrage et la netteté sont au rendez-vous par contre je trouve la couleur verte trop violente.

Bel arrière-plan. Point de vue intéressaant. Mise au point ok. mais les verts... trop forts trop violents.
Un petit ws et c,est plus doux.

Super belle prise de vue, au bon endroit au bon moment. La photo est très nette et la composition bien choisit pour un sujet en mouvement. Comme les commentaires précédent, le vert devrait être retouché.

O colorido ao fundo é o segredo desta bela foto, muito boa escolha, a escolha da profundidade de campo permitiu este efeito que evidenciou a bela ave. Parabéns.

You are right, these guys are pretty hard to capture out of the flock. Great color and even greated DOF control. Good job!
Were you trying to identify this bird as a Loon? It is in fact a Canadian goose.
