Photographer’s Note
This is a photo of the registration hall on Ellis Island, New York. In the late 18th and the 19th century almost every immigrant to the United States came through Ellis Island to the New World.
I like the museum very much. It shows you a lot of the destinys of the immigrants at that time. Very interesting. I recommend every tourist to New York to go to Ellis Island. Normally you will get there automatically when you book the ferry to the Statue of Liberty.
