Photographer’s Note

The grand canyon has several trails that allows every level of hikers from wannabe (like me) to expert to descend in to the bowel of the canyon. Due to the difference is elevation, up in the rim of the canyon can have a temperature of 15 degrees Celcius while deep down it could hover somewhere in the region of 30 degrees. It makes for a fun trip stripping while going down and bundling up while you are on your way back up.

A very nice display of varied rock colors, shapes and textures, Thien. Nice light, and it was a good idea to exclude the sky. Congratulations to your wife! Maybe she likes it because the white rock is heart-shaped. Regards, Ken.

I love rock too. Tell your wife she has a good eye. I like the many different layers of rock that are in this photo. From the heart shaped rock in the foreground to the blue cliffs in the background, and that nice red rock in between. Very nice!

Thien excellent capture that your wife found for you to post. I would imagine that you deserve credit for it too. So do you think that women look for love in the canyon more than men do? I really like this photo....thanks for her good eyes on spotting it.
