Peace Arch Park is a result of cooperation between USA and Canada and is located between the customs of the two countries on the highway between Seattle and Vancouver.
The arch is right on the border on the 49th latitude.
The two persons just happen to also be children of a common mother: my father and my aunt.
Naturally I wasn't happy about the rainy weather but dark sky seems to be OK background to the white arch.
Scanned photo with a usual fight against noise.

Interesting photo and even more interesting example of NORMAL relationships between two countries.

Yes there is a bit of noise, probably more noticable on the arch than on the sky. However, you present an interesting monument, with a double meaning for you. The red on the flags gives a nice splash of colour to lift the mood of the inclement weather.

Symbolic arc, the atmospheric conditions add the just sadness that we try in this was of world-wide conflicts, the world-wide peace is far arriving.
Compliments, clear and deep message.

I wish the US-Mexico border was as peaceful as this.
The photo has the technical problems that you know, but anyway I like it, especially with the colorful flags. I've added it to the "Flags/Bandeiras/Drapeaux" theme.

Oh, this is Washington State. Two days ago I was in DC too. Unfortunately, I got very short photo session in Washington. A reason is traffic. Thanks for interesting report. I think you made more photos in the US, perhaps not everything could be shared on the TE.
Best wishes from NYC!
