Photographer’s Note
This is the Columbia River Gorge from the bottom of Wind Mountain (on the left). You can see Mt. Defiance on the right with a heavy snow pack which shows off "the skull" which is visible in the winter. Mt. Defiance is the tallest peak immediately along the Columbia River at 4969 feet.

Hello Julie,
You have captured a very nice photo of the train and Gorge. The angle of the train, the stacked red trailers with its gren grass compliment nearest the viewer, the Columbia River and Gorge, and the great exposure you have selected allows the viewer to live out the moment as you have seen it.
Well done,
Steve

Were you on the wrong side of the tracks again?? I love the curve of the train leading off into the distance, and the sky is so blue. Very well done.

Julie,
This is an incredible shot of the Gorge. I like the way the train runs through the shot. The addition of the train gives some animation to the shot which is already breathtaking. I have to admit that I am a little bias, though. I grew up in Washougal right at the mouth of the Gorge.
Nicely done and TFS,
Rob
