Photographer’s Note
Niagara Falls New York, The Bridal veil Falls.
Located next to the American Falls, Bridal Veil Falls is one of the three waterfalls that comprise the incredible Niagara Falls. Situated between Luna Island and Goat Island, Bridal Veil Falls sits on the American side of the U.S.- Canada border, facing northwest. The crest is 56 feet wide, and has a direct fall of 78 feet that crashes onto the large rocks below, making the total drop 181 feet.
The Bridal Veil Falls is named for its appearance.Over the years these falls have been
called at different times; Luna Falls, Iris Falls and is currently named Bridal Veil Falls.
Over the years, the falls have attracted daredevils from around the world, The first person to successfully tumble down the falls in a barrel was a 63-year-old teacher named Annie Taylor in 1901. After surviving the tumble, Taylor's first reaction was,
"No one ought ever do that again."

Hello Vikram,
Different and interesting point of view of Niagara Falls. It shows the mighty power of water. The composition with three points, as well as the proximity to the falls is excellent!

Hi Vikram,
Great shot of this impressive place. The small flower down right give a nice touch to the picture.
Well Done!

Hi
I like the framing, especially the little flower in the left, down corner looks like it is growing from the water.
And by the way...I was there couple of times and I have almost identical shut!

Yo Vikram,
Nice one. The color of the water is rich. Lucky it was not noon when you took this picture or this wouldn't be so attractive. Nice timing.

Hello Vikram
Thanks for sharing this unusual (at least to me) POV of the falls. Great sharpness & contrast

A great sense of movement and power here, Vikram, and the limited, cool colour is so refreshing. The bridge at the top left helps to give depth and a focus of interest.

Hi Vikram,
This is very clear image, and does not compromise at any part of the image. The water in the foreground is crystal clear. good framing! Well done...

Technically it could be better as there is a left to right tilt on the shot, however this brings back so many memories when I stood in this exact spot 36 years ago on my only visit to the states.Sadly the shots taken with my Kodak 110 camera at the time do not show the power and beauty of these wonderful falls
