Rhode Island Light Houses Photo

Photographer’s Note

When I'm on the front of the see, I like to have a look on the light houses. During my trip in Rhode Island (USA), I have seen about 10 of these houses. I will today show you some of them. The name are on the smal picture.
I have like the fact of preseting several pictures on one panorama type. This provide a good overview of a collection. I hope you will like it too.

Weel, yes, it is a clever way to get around the restriction of 1 photo per day. It is an original idea, applied by some of us. I like lighthouses and all that goes withwater, wind and sails. The composition is nice, so here is my smiley.

A nice collection. I'm very fond of light houses, and they make good depictings, especially when they are colored.

A saw a wonderful documentary on TV, mostly focusing on light houses on and outside Brittany in France. Sadly I believe we are doing away with most of them (or at least depopulating them) in Sweden, based on increased use of GPS.

I hesitate about the caption, in my opinion the pictures speak for themselves, so the LP images are much better. Although a couple of the light houses have a slight tilt CW (are you perhaps, as I, astigmatic? Because I tend to tilt CW too). Then, when it comes to the question of getting around the restriction of one/day, I don't know. I have mixed feelings, so I'll settle for a "small" smiley today ;o)

Very nice Jacques - It seams you got the same idea long time ago. Its realy 6 beautiful captures you made for us - amazing to such difference between the Lighthouses - The must have been build by private persons - (would I guess) - Very nice work ideed - I like it.

Creative setting Jacques with the assembly of these 6 lighthouses. And I think smart to make a little theme or series from time to time, gives a more complete story. Well done ;-)

I really like Lighthouse, but I would drop the cyan back and the text with angle. I would prefer to see 6 different pictures of each. They look nice but very too small !
