Photographer’s Note

This stage is crowded with people and performers during summer time but it is empty during winter. Trying to get the loneliness mood as the sun set and a little grey/dark on the photo.

I think you made a fine photo Raymond with a splendid balance of the colours on the scene and in the landscape. The use of the branch in the upper part adds a fine value to the total impression. A very good job!

good light and mood shot..the colours seem to compliment each other and blend in and out of the sky..i drifted the pic down a bit and less snow seemed ok to me

Lovely shot! I really like the combination of a cold subject (snow) with the warm colours of the sunset. You've also done very well balancing your exposure between the bright(ish) background and the front of the building which must have been nearly in shadow! Excellent work :-D

The pastel colors in your photo are lovely! With the snow, everything looks as though it has an ethereal glow, which you captured very well.

Very nice shot, Raymond. I like your symmetrical composition with the main subject taking center stage (sorry for going for the obvious pun here ;-) The colors of the sunset and the way they illuminate the snow make this a very moody capture, and I like your way of shooting this from below the tree. Well done.

I love this shot. The building is beautiful, its colors are soft and perfectly fit with the winter colors around. It is funny to see the sunset through this bay window as if you were at home.

Ethereal is definitely the word for this picture. You certainly captured the lonely mood in an exceptional manner. The cool tones of the snow and building work marvelously with the warm pink sky.

I used to live in the Twin Cities, and this photo makes me wish to return home. Thank you for sharing this!
