This shot was taken on the top of the Aspen Mountain, as the people were preparing to ski down. Aspen Mountain is one of the four mountains that comprise the Aspen-Snowmass ski area and is the only one that rises right from heart of downtown Aspen. The top can be reached with the Silver Queen Gondola. The day was gorgeous, with the temperature on the high 30's, very unusual for this time of the year. A very nice weather to enjoy the last day of the year.

Great panorama! Very crisp focus and multiple exposure light zones in excellent representation.

Superb. I'm not sure it was a good idea to add people in this shot, because they attract my eyes in the bottom part (the less beautiful part) of the photograph, but the background is extremely beautiful. I think I would have tried to do not take it with the people and frame it higher, and crop the sky to have a panoramic shot. Anyway, a good photograph Ricardo.

The background mountains are very attractive. It looks like silver or metallic polished. Very very rare scene. Good contrast with saturation and sharpness.
Thanks for sharing this good photo.

Of course this is the top of the world when you take from this POV showing all these hills down to the skiers:-)
A nice one with high quality and a good captation of the shadow in opposition of the light over the hills.

Hi Ricardo, A good PoV to see the skiing scene. I like ski myself. One reason is the speed; another is the beautiful view along the slope. A nice capture of the moving skiers in this picture and the beautiful view in the background.

What I most like here are the two distinct scenes - the foreground skiiers in shadow, but clearly seen, and then the beautiful hills below bathed in the sun. The random trees and solitary skiier nicely divide the scenes. Your large format is also very apropos here. Well seen and captured, Ricardo.

The silky look of the mountains is really amazing. It is most attractive. I also like the way the three figures forming a nice triangle and connecting the two quite contrasting portions in this composition. Well done!! All the best.

Interesting light conditions which cut the frame with the foreground/background division. The background has a wonderful satiny sheen to it. Well captured.

beautiful, clear view from the 'top' deep down in the contrside. Good idea to fill the snow area with people.
