Ready to roll...I stumbled upon this lobster shack while driving along the back coastal roads in New England. I knew this elusive shack had to be somewhere.
The day was quite overcast so I adjusted the saturation of individual lobster bouys to get the colorful effect. I stamped out the sign on the left but decided to keep to add sense of place and depth.
I am a big lobster fan and I can only imagine what the fisherman's daily task is like to lower the lobster traps with the colorful bouy to mark placement and ownership. Hit or miss...

Well no mistaking what their business is, Kathy :) I love the New England charm of this scene, and it seems you have done well in bringing out the individual colors while preserving the grey feel of the bayside setting. I think a step or two to the right would have improved your pov so as to include just a bit of the right side perspective of the building; this would give the eye a transition line to the water and a full view of the red boat. I agree with your decision to leave the sign intact. It adds to the "happy clutter" of the subject.

I agree with Lisa about the step to the right. Very nice New England scene. I'm a lobstah fan also.
