Photographer’s Note
I was driving home one Sunday at about sunset, when I saw this fantastic sky above me. I pulled over at Kahe Point, and noticed there were 4 surfers in the water waiting for their next wave (there are actually 5, but it is hard to see the fifth one). So, I setup and grabbed this as quickly as I could; hard to do when you are shooting a large format camera.

It's a different take than the typical long lens close-up of surfers. But I like it a lot.
