This shot is the first from my trip out to Colorado I took in early January 2006. While visiting my friend (ahudgins) we snowshoed, hiked, skied and climbed a 14,000ft mountain (all pictures still to come).

This shot was taken on Table Mountain during a short hike around sunset. Table Mountain separates Denver from Golden and the foothills (seen in the background). It is appropriately named as it is a large oval shaped outcropping of land with a completely flat top. I particularly liked this trail, the surrounding grain, mountains and the light of the day.
