| The spotted hyena is a native of Africa, but this one was shot in the state of Florida at Busch Gardens in Tampa. I would like to visit Africa one day, but also enjoy taking photographs of animals at wildlife centres. |

I think it is interesting that many of us can go to a zoo or other place and see animals from all over the world. What a curious breed we are as humans! I like this shot. The composition is very strong with the animal on the left and looking right. For me, the colors work well to bring focus to the hyena.
