Or What I Got for Christmas from Daddy, Beverly Hills, California

I know it's a little bit blurry but I just can't resist to post this today, this first day of 2004 to start the year with a ... bang. This was taken six years ago when we were driving around Bel-Air, Rodeo Drive and Beverly Hills area of Los Angeles, gawking at movie stars' houses.

This Rolls Royce was just there, parked on some nondescript street near Rodeo Drive. I just had to take a snap shot as during that time (and I'm sure even up to now), this little scene was quintessential Beverly Hills (remember Beverly Hills 90210, the TV show was popular then). Rodeo Drive is where that the rich and famous do their shopping, and where tourists window-shop while trying to spot movie stars on the fabled street. Little did I know that six years later ... I will admit my star-struck mentality at TrekEarth (!).

Tech: scanned from a print in high resolution, autocontrast and autolevels, had to do some spot editing like Gaussian blurring and clone stamping the dark areas of the windows to remove finger prints and other debris, then resizing and framing.

Oh yes - I also took a Rools photo at my last visit to London - Thanks for sharing (Perhaps I post mine) - To bad but the car seams a bit out of focus to me.
