Photographer’s Note

Not only kids like to play in the sand, he was on to this for about an hour, I've joinded the final result in the workshop. I croped the image heavilly on the left putting the girl as she lead the scene, but the main subject was the artist, remember :-) But I like her look and the atmosphere in the backgroung, hope you enjoy... I do, we received 40cm of snow today, I would certainly go back to the beach !! happy Hollidays to everyone, Cheers !

Hola Pierre.
Very good shot with a lot of action. Nice colors and sharpness. very well composed. Nice to remember the way summer is especially when you have snow today. Her look and the atmosphere in the background is very good, i can see that !!.

Bonjour mon ami Pierre,
Ah que cela fait plaisir à voir, les joies de la plage, le soleil, le repos, les châteaux et les sculptures sur sable.
C'est bien loin, c'est presque de la préhistoire ! ;o)
Il faut reconnaître que cette sculpture éphémère exécutée ne manque pas d'élégance.
La neige (pas moins de 40 cm) a remplacé le sable !

ce n'est pas une des meilleures, mais la plage c'est très difficile. le grand garcon qui fait des patés de sable et les deux nymphettes c'est le sujet le fond est un peu trop présent mais il reste l'abiance plage quand il neige au Quebec.

Hi Pierre, It looks that the big kid was having a good time to build his sand castle. A good capture of the busy, fun sunny beach day. It looks that everyone was busy enjoying the beautiful summer beach day.

A colourful, dynamic shot. Not that I mind, but the woman on the left certainly steals the show...Great clarity here, and I like the ability to appreciate the fine points of the sand castle. This could be a commercial poster for some new cold brew...Well captured.

Well Pierre I can sure tell you had fun on the beach with this capture. Cameras and sand are mortal ememies..Arrgghh.

Hi Pierre,
Today in Portugal you have a nice blue sky and a not so cold but not for to stand at the beach for some minutes. I like this reportage with the WS. Fine zoom approach and all is well focused and nicely framed with a great summer day and beach motion feeling. Excelent colors, good light and a great moment to remember summer details and atmosphere.

Congratulations and merry christmas to you in advance. Santa must give me a summer day ;-)))

Hi Pierre, a lovely daily life beach scene. I like the crowded cheerfulness a lot here - there's a lot going on. The WS is highly appreciated too. And what attrraction this is in wintertime!

I'm back after one week absence, but everything over now.
You take a very good moment and excellent angle, the father is construction of sand castles, the lady be on guard, excellent sharp and clarity, in this lovely weather, whereas here in Belgium 1° Celsius and very fog and cold.

I like the way you have captured so many people doing all sort of different things in this photo ... This photo is very rich in capturing the variety.
The lady on the left .. sand castle, Pier, people in the water .. and the best part for me is of course the girls in bikinis .. ;-)

In the middle of winter we dream of different places, Pierre, but in the frames are very similar situations. Actions on the beach. And this image is filled with actions; the guy building the sand castle; sunbathers; and a huge crowd in the water. Everybody enjoying themselves, except the wife(?) who's tired of waiting for him - always playing... ;o) If I should make a wish (and why not on the last day of the year), it would be for a slightly shorter DOF setting more focus on the main actors, but still showing all the background activities. Anyhow you've nailed the feeling. Very well done!

voilà une image qui réchauffe ... j'avoue que je préfère celle du WS qui met en valeur et isole la création du reste de la plage. Bon d'accord c'est bien de voir l'artiste à l'oeuvre mais à l'image, les deux personnes sur le même plan étouffent un peu le sujet.. Tous mes voeux.

I would like to take this kind beach shot which gives lots of activities. But here in Penang, we don't see such crowd.
Well composed with all the activities well seen, especially that artist trying to finish his masterpiece.
