Photographer's Note

We had a couple of remarkably clear morning this past week, so I got up early and went to one of my favorite photo spots to catch the sunrise. When I first got there it was still pitch black and I couldn't make out anything in the distance, but as the morning wore on I could finally make out Mount Rainier and the rest of the Cascades to the East.

This shot was taken about 30-40 minutes after I first arrived. I like how the mountain is silhoutted against the morning colors. On top of the Space Needle you can see the Christmas tree they put up each year.

I really did not changes in photoshop. Just cleared the image up a little and cropped. I did not adjust the colors, it really was this beautiful.
