I like the close crop, watch the line of the water/beach cutting through the subjects head.

DOF and cropping make this shot inspiring. I like its simplicity and yet mood casting nature.
I would clone out though the white object in the water.

Very nice shot of a surfer enjoying what he loves to do. I love the angle of the board, and the texture of the wax on it. The dark blue in the background and rocks are nice. And even though a little blurry, you can still tell it's a surfer on his board in the background. Very nice "surf" shot.
