Photographer’s Note

Las Vegas - a glamorous city in US. It is sometime called as "The Entertainment Capital of the World". The center of gambling in the US, Las Vegas is sometimes called Sin City due to the popularity of legalized gambling, availability of alcoholic beverages any time, various forms and degrees of adult entertainments. The city was founded in the first decade of the 20th century, and is a major vacation, shopping, and gambling destination. There are "Tunnel of Love Drive-Through Wedding Chapel" just for $45.

At the left you can see the Paris Las Vegas - is a hotel and casino on the Las Vegas Strip. This is a 1/2 scale replica of the Eiffel Tower and a neon sign in the shape of the Montgolfier balloon. More close up view of this hotel is here . There are several casino-hotels all through the street.

Um lugar muito lindo... só quem conhece pessoalmente para se ter realmente a idéia do local (passei 3 dias aí, adorei!!!) de dia é muito bonito a noite é SHOW!!!
Você fotografou muito bem.
Uma excelente foto noturna. Cores, profundidade, nitidez e ótimo POV.

well composed photo with lots of clarity and nice dramatic sky in this photo too.
Interesting to know about the drive through Chapel ... lols... now I know why so many people get married in Las Vegas.

Excellent night shot. It is taken at the right moment when it has not yet become too dark and when it was a clear blue sky. Great conditions for a night shot. Very nice with the cars to the left. Superb job!

Dipak this is very nicely done. I love the detials nice and tight in the frame. Add to that the perspective lines of the roadway makes this a pleasure to see. Finally excellent details as well. A fine photo ...Good Work!

Hi Dipak,
Excellent perspective here as well as shooting time to show the night lights over a deep blue sky, I like tis debauchery of lights to be found in Vegas and the crazy mix of world and Disney architectures. I would clone the crane on top of the building to the right to further enhance the appeal of this nice photo.

There's only one Las Vegas! You have captured its spirit in this image Dipak. You don't give the exposure time but I'd guess it's relatively fast for a night shot because of the narrow DOF you used, and because there is no over-exposure of the lights. This allows us to see all the little details. A very well taken image.

I also like a lot to get photos of the cities by night, and this is really a very good one, with a good sharpness, full of details and light colours with a good composition and almost without noise, very difficult in these cases. Well done.

Nice evening shot of Vegas, lots going on, lots of colours, i could spent half an hour just looking at everything.
Vegas has SO many opportunities for photos, and you have an interesting one here.
