Photographer’s Note
The view of Mt. Adams from Mt. Rainier. This was taken from just below 10,000 feet(3,048 meters) on the Muir Snowfield. It was incredible being above the clouds and this picture captures it.

A very nice composition on this photo. Having the people in the shot really gives us a sense of size! Nicely done! TFS

Very impressive shot. Rainier looks great but I never so a photo from its top. Very beautiful aswell. The clouds build a certain border to the world below... You and those guys are very free in this moment!!
As I said, impressive scenery!

Hi Francis;
Growing up in British Columbia for much of my life, I had always heard of Mt. Rainier (from Washington State television) but never actually seen it. Mt. Baker is the one well known from BC's lower mainland. It can be see on most clear days, from the lower mainland & Vancouver Island.
Looks like an impressive climb with some great views...
Nice shot,

Great shot! The clouds appear to be seething below these tiny silhouettes. Your composition is excellent. This could have been a tough exposure, with all the white, but you captured it very well. Cheers!

Nice shot, Francis! From you POV it seems there is the end of the world just behind the trekkers! Bud there´s another planet just rising from the clouds. Surreal for those never climb such nice mountain. Thanks for sharing!

Great shot - it must be an amazing feeling to be looking down onto the clouds & yet still standing on the ground! Nicely captured!
