Photographer’s Note
This is the 6th post of my "Halloween in Hollywood" Series
This is an Indian couple. I am not sure what’s the background of the tribes. I believe these two are not exactly related to each other. They met down the street in the Carnaval. I happen to be there and asked them to take a picture together.
The one on the left is suppose to be a chief and the one on the right is dressed as an Indian lady (by a man a believe).
Another shot of the Indian Chief is show in the WS.

Judging by the ostentation of the costumes I would guess they have no relationship to any tribe. A good job it's warm in Southern California; they would freeze to death here. Like before you have captured the colours well against the dark background.

Looks like Haloween in the US is like a big party. I have never seen anybody dressed like them and stroll in the street in Japan. I really like this series. I just feel the cultural differences between Japan and your country. Very interesting indeed. Lovely documentary photo to me.

Hello Wes, your costumes get more bizarre every night! Thanks for these great colours and outlandish clothes - what on earth will we have tomorrow?

Wes it seems that every photo you post from this party gets much more elaborate each time. This is wild...so very wild. I am refering to teh fella on the left. No need for a bow and arrow. He can scare any libing thing to death out there in the wild west! Great shot Wes..Kudos to You sir!

Hola Wes.
They really had a good time with the halloween party in Hollywood. Nice costums and colours. No doubt that in Hollywood they celebrate Holloween a lot. Good composition.
Well done.

Hello Wes,
Wow a halloween theme galery. I was please with all the colors and costumes. The definition is good, but I am not sure about the POV. Anyway, is a fun picture to see. Is that a halloween parade???...
Thanks,
Gabriel

Hi Wes. This is another good continuance of the series. The colors are surprisingly rich for a night shot. Personally I think you are fine with the built-in speed light in our D70. Nice one Mr. Wes.

Hi Wes
Eventhough I am enjoying your hollywood halloween series ... but I must say that I do feel that costumes like these should not be paraded in the parties as they might hold a emotional value to the native indians .... I really don't have much idea about if these things do hold any significance ..... but hey we are living in the world without morals, Jay Leno is usually my source of news ... so I should'nt complain ...
btw you did a pretty good job with the photo ... but you should post some more naughty shots (I have no objection there... lols) .. I am kind of curious now too
thanks for this series man ... cheers ... sarju
PS: men dressed like ladies is kind of pretty popular in canada too. What were you wearing? ... it would be nice to know it.

Hi Wes, I like the colorful costume of the chief. Photo is sharp and clear. The street light behind is slightly distracting and it could be easily cloned away.
