White Sands Monsoon Reflection II Photo

Photographer’s Note

Taken at first light at White Sands National Monument. An off season monsoon rolled through the area providing a unique photographic opportunity. White Sands sand actually turns tan when wet. The sand also appears extra golden from the red light present in the early morning sunlight.

JIm this is very nice. Excellent color and reflection and gorgous lighting. I cannot offer any suggestion for improvement either. I always love how the water deeepens the color of the water.

What a great photo from this beautiful place! Your composition in White Sands National Monument is beautiful. I like great reflections and contrasts between water, send, clouds and sky. I love the colors in your photo and note is good too.

Beautiful shot, the pattern of clouds and wonderful light make it.
The colour of the sky doesnt seem quite natural, a little too vibrant - did you use a polariser? Actually I think I like the effect though
